Pros: XMP Profile picked up first boot in bios. Rock solid stability. Quality heatsink and they match my MB!

Cons: None

Overall Review: Price is a bit high, but lower then other high end 16Gb kits. Running VM's you can't have too much ram.

Most Critical Review

Don't Buy These they are not pc2 8500.

Pros: None unless you want 800mhz parts sold as 1066mhz.

Cons: These are not pc2 8500 1066 they are 800mhz parts that you need to overclock, overvolt to 2.0v, and relax the timings to get them to run at 1066. I tried overclocking these as suggested by kingston to achive the rated speed and got nothing but BSOD as soon as the operating system started to load.

Overall Review: I thought kingston was a reputable company apparently I was wrong they knowingly sell these parts rated above the specs of the memory chips. I wrote kingston with my concerns, and this is the response I got. From kingston tech support: "Be aware that this memory is 800Mhz memory that can be overclocked to 1066Mhz. To do this, you have to manually adjust the timings and voltage. Here are the optimal settings for this memory." Then when I expressed my concern about selling parts that are not what they say they are this is the response from them: "All of our HyperX memory is like this. They are specifically made for customers looking to overclock their computers. If this is not something you are not wanting to do. You should use out 1066Mhz DDR2 ValueRam parts. These modules run natively at 1066Mhz". What a load. These should run natively at 1066 or should be advertised as 800mhz parts which they are not. I will not be buying their value ram or any other ram from kingston.

Pros: Silent psu at low loads, super quiet fan when it does kick on. Rock stready voltage regulation. Plenty of room to grow. You get a idea of the quality just from the thought and care that goes into the packaging. It shows they are serious about it being a high end product. I thought it would be hard to improve on my 3Yr old 750w PC P&C PSU but Seasonic has done it.

Cons: None
