Pros: Amazing BIOS, it's been a while since I've build a rig. I've been stuck on laptops and this stuff has gone a long way. Super easy to use. Extremely easy overclocking and supports the little things in Windows 8.1 that have been bugging me for a while now. i.e.- it actually goes to sleep and shuts down.
Price - can't beat it
MSI Build quality is great, plus it matches my MSI GTX 670
Comes with a case sticker (Common, but you can't have too many stickers!)
Cons: Only two 3 pin fan options without a controller. There are more 4 pin fan options, but my case came with three 3 pin fans. :\
Other Thoughts: MSI is great, Z77 is good, this motherboard is a great bang for the buck. Just buy it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: High Power Capacity!
Feels fairly heavy and well built.
Works like it should, I have power. No issues thus far.
Cons: No modular cables, but that's why it's cheaper than most power supplies. The long cables can make cable management difficult and make your case look cluttered, but it worked out okay in my case. I only use 2.5' drives so my 3.5 drive bays work as my excess cable holders.
Other Thoughts: So many bad reviews on this PSU. Upon first boot, it shut off after lighting up the fans. Turns out there was another mobo power connecter that need plugged in. :) PSU has worked great when connected properly lol. It's cheap, high powered, and seems to be build well. Fan is a little on the louder side, but it's not too bad. No weird tones or anything like others are reporting. I wouldnt replace it with a more expensive PSU for any other reason than cable management. If you're on a tight budget and want something to get the job done, pick this thing up!READ FULL REVIEW
Used the pea thermal paste method with the included paste on an Intel i5 3340. First boot, bios said 40c, after OS install, 29C idle. Excellent cooling!
It's fairly quiet too!
Comes with thermal paste!
Cons: Not a fan of the press in rivet style motherboard connectors. I would prefer to just screw it down. It took me two tries to get it on, guess that's just me being dumb though.
Other Thoughts: Great CPU cooler for the price. Looks good and works great for the price.READ FULL REVIEW
