G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT
  • Verified Owner

Pros: Worked exactly as expected.

Cons: Worked, as in past tense. Died after 3 months in system immediately after I left for 2 weeks, leaving my girlfriend without Netflix and the Vampire Diaries for that time.

Other Thoughts: Going to RMA

65000+ errors on every test in memtest86 is typically a bad sign.

RAZER Lycosa Keyboard

5 out of 5 eggs Best Keyboard Ever 03/11/2010

This review is from: RAZER Lycosa Keyboard

Pros: Everything.

The rubber non-slip coating feels amazing when typing or gaming.

I haven't had any problem with Fedora 7-12, Vista x64 or 7 x64.

The USB port on the back is ridiculously convenient.

Cons: Drivers were a bit wonky in Vista x64, but nothing that couldn't be resolved.

It won't improve your kill-to-death ratio automatically.

Other Thoughts: Razer software is a must.

Pair with the Razer Lachesis (Bringer of Silent Death) and you have a winning combination.

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL4D-4GBPK

Pros: Cheap 8 gigs of victory.

Buy it if you want it.

RMAed first set through G.Skill

Cons: RMAed first set through G.Skill

Other Thoughts: Rumored to be issues with my motherboard, P5N-E SLI, running 8gigs so I was a little uncertain about buying a second set, but I jumped in head first and couldn't be happier -- unless I had an i7.

Intel Core2Duo E8400, P5N-E SLI, BFG 8800GTS(512MB), 4x2GB GSkill PC6400, 300GB VelociRaptor, 500GB Seagate
Vista x64, Fedora 10 x64
