This review is from: CORSAIR Voyager 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFVY3S-64GB
Pros: Rubber casing helps seal out moisture and protect against cracking or breakage.
Cons: Only 64GB; not much of a complaint.
Other Thoughts: I sprang at the chance to purchase this thumbdrive when it was available for $56. I have complete confidence in Corsair, a manufacturer specializing in memory. I giggled getting such a bargain.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Rock solid and stable. It doesn't have any of the problems of my previous motherboard. I'm not an over-clocker, but it has many options for doing so easily. You can also update the BIOS from the Windows environment!
Cons: No cons. The only con is me; I should've chosen this board in the first place.
Other Thoughts: Now I'm able to play "Metro 2033" without my PC locking up. I'm able to launch the Unigine Heaven benchmark without my PC locking up. A PCI-e x1 device, like the SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion sound card will work in a PCI-e x8/x16 slot, so no worries there. I had to install it in the second to last slot to make my sound card work. Now, all of the problems I had had are gone. I love this motherboard.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: It does work somewhat.
Cons: I've experienced many different glitches. The most annoying of these is that I can't power down or restart my PC through Windows. The donut keeps spinning for a long time, and then once the donut stops spinning, the shut down or restart process hangs indefinitely, forcing me to manually power off or reset. This concerns me as I have no assurance that updates that require restarts won't be adversely effected. Then there's the bug of spontaneously going into sleep mode even while I'm typing an email and moving or clicking the mouse, nor banging the space bar on my keyboard will reawaken my PC; yep, I have to manually shut down my PC and restart it. I've had the screen turn all light blue and receive the error message that my display driver had temporarily failed and recovered. My graphics card is a month old. I've had a glitch occur where the screen went black and I saw to the effect: "BIOS CHECKSUM ERROR!...." Fortunately, in the latter case my BIOS recovered.
Other Thoughts: Since I've installed this motherboard my Window Experience Index increased for my graphics card, but my SATA 3 HDD didn't raise the index from what it had been with my old SATA 2 HDD. I encourage - URGE - people to peruse reviews of AMD 890FX motherboards before purchasing this one.READ FULL REVIEW
