Oh boy do the screws suck

Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition 120mm High Static Pressure Twin Pack Fan (CO-9050008-WW)
Corsair Air Series SP120 High Performance Edition 120mm High Static Pressure Twin Pack Fan (CO-9050008-WW)

Pros: look very nice and fit well in my Define S. work great if you are running filters on your intake fans or have to many radiators and just need to cool them all. but read the cons and other for a great tip and the reason why these aren't 5 for 5

Cons: The worst experience with fan screws i have ever seen in all my years of building computers. Complete disappointment on corsair for doing this. the included fan screws are not self tapping doesn't sounds like a big deal? well you try tapping plastic and rubber mounts with out a cutting edge. and you can read the other reviews on these fans and see it has even caused damage to the mounts because of their over sight on this, but there is a great way around this and if you do buy them your wrists will thank you so much for reading this tip. Oh and why aren't the wires braided or sleeved in mesh like most premium fans are? pretty lame Corsair. pretty lame...

Overall Review: so for some stupid reason the screws aren't self tapping and every other fan manufacturer uses self tapping screw but Corsair, which Isn't a super bad thing because then fan these are most likely going to be replacing have self tapping screws in them. So if you want to use the included mounting screws with your fan you will first have to thread the mounts with the screws that came with your old fans. DON'T worry they are the same thread pattern and once you have done this the screws will fit nicely. So over all only worth one egg because the fans them selves work great just kinda lame how they don't come with the right screws for the job.

Not very Quiet

Corsair Air Series SP120 (CO-9050012-WW) PWM Quiet Edition High Static Pressure Fan (Twin Pack)
Corsair Air Series SP120 (CO-9050012-WW) PWM Quiet Edition High Static Pressure Fan (Twin Pack)

Pros: these do work very nice for both the cooling of my Enermax heat sink and the dual 120mm rad that is currently cooling my CPU but as the cons well tell you not quite what they are labeled as.

Cons: pretty noisy fans when running at low RPS. they make more noise when running around 500 RPM then they do at full tilt which is pretty disappointing seeing as they are marketed for being quite. I know they are static pressure fans and will make more noise by design but the NZXT fans that these replaced were in fact way cheaper and way quieter then these. And then you have the fan mounts them selves which come with the worse screws ever. The screws are not self tapping. if you dont know what that means then take a screw out of one of the case fans that came with your case and compare. If these fans came with self tapping screw i would have given it 4/5 but my hands and wrists say other. ""best tip! use a self tapping screw first from the aforementioned case fan to tap the holes then use the screw the fans come with""

Overall Review: the sound coming from both fans almost sounds as if they are imbalanced. whats crazy is Im using rubber isolating mounts on top of the ones that come with the fans and have them sandwiched in between my case and a radiator and they still sound like they will shake my steal case apart and on visual inspection there are no missing peaces or nicks in either of the fans. But they do work and maybe its just a messed up batch.

Great Motherboard for the price

MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: price is pretty good for what you get and its simple and clean looking. no fancy buttons or bling that a lot of boards come with nowadays. Didn't run sli with it but did run crossfire and it worked pretty well. as well as one would expect from and MSI board. You can see any traces really on the board which adds to the clean look of the mate black finish. This being my second MSI board i'm still very pleased with the quality and function of the board. Very much so like the placement of the M.2 sata port on this board. It makes your very nice and expensive M.2 SSD a center point of the build which i think is a great thing and way better then being down lower on the board or any other place for that matter. its location does not interfere with any of the function of the board or GPUs or any of the coolers i have used on the board. See "other" for overclocking and cooling if that's what you are looking for.

Cons: the only cons or well con hear is not anything that major or anything that you can consider a bad thing in any way just a small thing i wish they would have done different. and the one small thing is the placement of the Krait logo of the cobra. You cant see it at all with a graphics card installed. yeah only thing i didn't like.

Overall Review: SO over clocking on this board...yeah would highly recommend the use a 140mm high air flow fan as an exhaust in the back and as well as above in the top back for any case you are going to be over clocking this in as the chocks get very warm when you start pushing in to the 1.28-1.32V range. I'm running a i5 4690k with an evo water block and was able to hold a 4.8Ghz overclock on this board but would not run it at the speed for a daily overclock do to the fact of the heat the Chocks are reaching when at 1.3 volts. that being said this isn't a board made for overclock by any means but it will do it if you are will to take the chance and have enough air flow to keep things cool. The heat is not worth taking an egg away seeing as its not made for overclocking and it did it any way so if i could add a 6th egg i would because MSI made a very good board that looks nice and will allow you to mess around a little too. P.S. I had ran a R9 280 and HD 7970 in cross fire for the fun of it and the board didn't complain even with both cards over clocked i know that's more of a card thing but just wanted to add it. and am running the sapphire nitro R9 390 which looks super bad A with this boards colors too. i will also note i have had this board for almost 2 years now and still kicking but with it XD good lord new egg and your censoring of words

Define S

Fractal Design Define S Black Window Silent ATX Midtower Computer Case
Fractal Design Define S Black Window Silent ATX Midtower Computer Case

Pros: This case is deep and ready for what ever you want to throw at it. The lack of drive cages is very nice too, it adds to the clean look and also for as much graphics card length as you could imagine. Speaking of Drive cages, the mounting on the back of where the drive cages would be normally are really well done and in a great place for running the sata cables. The sound deadening material adds some weight to the case and work very well too. There is material on the top and the side panel with out the window. the clear side panel window is also very large and allows for the entire PC to be shown off which is really nice for a costume loop.

Cons: this is a small con and is not worth an egg but is worth noting. The Slots that you use to put you graphics card into is very tight on the case. not a big deal unless you are taking your graphics cards in and out all the time, but just a heads up if you are having issues with taking out your GPU try to make it as straight as possible. The mother board im using is the MSI krait Z97, a Twin Frozer iii HD 7970 and a Sapphire R9 280.

Overall Review: If you do not have High static pressure fans for air intakes you will be seeing a drop in cooling performance. the mesh on the filters are very tight which does keep the dust out very nicely, have yet to clean my case, but do to the tight mesh air flow fans will have a small issue blowing air through them. just a heads up XD

Cheap board

GIGABYTE GA-F2A55M-S1 FM2+ AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-F2A55M-S1 FM2+ AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: It works and it lasts. i bought this board a little over 2 years ago and its still running strong. Works with my A10 7850k witch was a big plus but i would not recommend this board if you want to run an APU with out a graphics card (see other thoughts)

Cons: No cons for what you pay.

Overall Review: So if you are looking to run this with just the APU i would not recommend it mainly because the board will bottle neck any APU you use and it also does not have that good of on board Video options for your APU. it only has VGA and spending 40$-50$ gets you into the MSI A88Xm gaming board witch has way better options and will give you a much better experience with just the APU. if you are running a graphics card with this board then it wont matter because your card should have Dvi out. So make sure you are getting what you want. over all it worked great and i was running a R7 260x with this and my A10 7850k so the VGA was not an issue till the card died XD so if you need to save money go with this board but if you can spend the extra 50$ then get something with more options.

White heat sink

ENERMAX ETS-T40-W White 120mm Cluster CPU Cooler with Cluster APS PWM Fan
ENERMAX ETS-T40-W White 120mm Cluster CPU Cooler with Cluster APS PWM Fan

Pros: was the same size that it says it is in the specifications, fits the case i have and keeps my 12 Core APU under 40c when playing Far Cry 4 at ultra. Pretty quite too which is a big upgrade from the stock cooler. Also did i mention its white XD. PLEASE READ!! look at the specifications and measure your case before buying this. tired of people who are complaining it wont fit in their case because its to big.

Cons: non really other then the logo on top of the heat sink was scratched out of the box but you can't see it really so not even a big deal.

Overall Review: *THIS FITS FM2+ there is a review of someone saying this does not fit FM2+ and he needed to go find a FM2 board to use it.....-_- the FM2+ and FM2 sockets have the same mounting points. im using a MSI A88Xm gaming board and its a FM2+ board and you know what.....it fits great on the board and works, that guy should take his tech level dropped down 2 notches if he does not know this, but yes it fits FM2+ and i feel his review should be removed do to the fact its the only one where the guy has no idea what he is talking about....sorry for my rage im done now and BTWs this cooler out did the NZXT X41 kraken i had before.
