This review is from: SIIG SC-SA0E12-S1 SATA 3.0 PCI-Express 2.0 with 2 SATA 6Gb/s and 1 PATA Connectors
Pros: SATA III 6Gbp/s
Cons: Takes at least 45 seconds to intialize at boot, I have had 486 motherboards boot faster than this. Defeats the purpose of buying fast gear like SSD's and SATA III hard drives if it takes over a minute to boot because of poor bios programming. Win 7 64 bit is randomly rebooting and a couple BSODs after installing this card, it is coming out.
Other Thoughts: Also, why add a PATA on there? if people are buying a SATA III card I doubt they are using PATA devices... Waste of $19.99 that I wont get back, It will cost me half of that just to send it back, I could melt it down for scrap gold at $1300 an ounce and get more for it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: NORCO RL-26 Heavy-Duty Slide Ball Bearing Rail
Pros: Cheap and sturdy. I got them free with a Norco 4220 case. Glad I didn't pay a dime for them.
Cons: Aren't compatible with threading on a Middle Atlantic rack. This was my media server at the bottom of the rack replacing a loud Supermicro SC-836. Rail threading however isn't the same pitch as the threading on Middle Atlantic. Supermicro didn't have an issue with the rack and I am not sure why the holes are even threaded, I had to drill them out.READ FULL REVIEW
