This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro LED Red 230mm Case Fan
Pros: -Moves A LOT of air (around 60% more than CM 932 Advanced factory fans) I bought two other plain black ones too.
-Dropped my SLI 780's temps gaming by 8 - 10 degrees
Cons: The screw holes would NOT line up AT ALL where the front fan is on a Cooler Master 932 Advanced. I tried for half an hour and the best I could get matched up was the top two holes.
Other Thoughts: I just put in the top two holes and I wedged an electrical tape between the bottom part of the fans housing and the HDD rack so it would not rattle and flop around when it was turned on.
Overall (now that it's installed and pushing air) I'm happy with the purchase, but I am always thinking about the screw holes.....
This review is from: BitFenix Spectre Pro All Black 230mm Case Fan
Pros: -move A LOT of air (60% more than my Cooler Master 931 Advanced fans) I bought 3 to replace every 230mm fan.
-dropped my SLI 780's temps while gaming by around 8 - 10 degrees alone
Cons: -Just a TAD louder than the CM 932's factory fans by 6 DB but it's worth it.
Other Thoughts: I was kind of lazy about installing these and waited a week before unpacking them.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS Z97-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: -Worked right out of the box (YAY!)
-USB Bios flash is pretty sweet, it's impossible to brick your MOBO
-It auto overclocked my 4690k to 4.6 no problem and stable
-The bios is pretty nice and I can actually enter BIOS without unplugging my SSD's to change stuff (thanks boot to bios utility)
Cons: -Way too many switches in all the wrong spots. Once you have your stuff installed (in my case SLI and a sound card) the USB Flash Button and CMOS battery and a few switches become unaccessable unless you pull stuff out.
Other Thoughts: I was nervous after I bought this because of all the negative reviews, I'm glad it was just fear as this board is awesome.
I wish I would have spent the extra 20 - 40 bucks and got the HERO, but I really didn't need on board sound and keybot.
