APRICORN ASW-USB-25 USB 2.0 to SATA Adapter
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

1 out of 5 eggs Nobody Home.. 06/27/2011

This review is from: APRICORN ASW-USB-25 USB 2.0 to SATA Adapter

Pros: Hardware is a quality build.

Cons: Dead CD. Nothing readable. No download available to replace it. This makes the product useless. This looks like an unburned CD.
The package was literally welded shut requiring shop shears to open. This is overkill.

Other Thoughts: I just want a working CD. Contacting Newegg..

4 out of 5 eggs Faked Clack Is Bothersome! 01/02/2011

This review is from: ABS M1 Heavy Duty Professional Gaming Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: Solid build. Heavy. Cloth wrapped USB cord. Full keyboard. The keyboard looks really rugged.

Cons: The clack technique feels like a sleeve c-o-c-king (not a bad word) on a shaft, jamming and then bottoming out. The hydrostatic shock is bothersome. This is NOT a negative spring--it's a faked clack. Mechanically, it feels worrysome, bad suspension with a rattling travel. One sitting, and you know it's not a real M1.

Other Thoughts: It's just a noise maker. Too bad because it's built well.

Antec P193 Gunmetal Gray Aluminum / Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

5 out of 5 eggs ..grounding problem.. 06/24/2010

This review is from: Antec P193 Gunmetal Gray Aluminum / Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: One call, and customer service was there to help. Without going into the details, I will have replacement parts for my front panel and further assistance should I need it for any future troubles. This is a great case, and I see that Antec will stand behind it.

Cons: None anymore. Be sure your power supply has LONG leads--get a high end unit. Find screws to lay flat for the rear fan should you remount it with a radiator or other hardware. The lip from the big fan side covers the two outer screw heads. I Dremeled notches to mount the radiator and fan for a Corsair H50. No biggie.

Other Thoughts: Replacing a mobo is not fun. Having an odd problem recognized by customer service without question makes the extra work easier. When you buy this case, you truly are a member of an elite group. When you use it to the max, everyone will know it..
