This review is from: ASUS Z87-PRO LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: I love the WiFi antenna that comes with it. Saved me from running an ethernet cable across my room.
The BIOS is very straight forward and very "EZ" :)
Cons: I like the gold, but I wish they had a blue version. It would've matched my case and ram better. But I'm not too picky about that, as long as it runs well - which it does.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: If you're starting out and your build is fairly efficient, then this is a great psu for you. Semi Modular, every cable that comes out of my psu serves a purpose.
Cons: The cable for the cpu power was just a little bit shorter than I would have liked. I still managed to route it the way I wanted to, but it just barely reached.
Other Thoughts: I have an intel core i5 4670k, asus z87 pro, 1 ssd, 1 hdd and a gigabyte gtx 760 and it supports my build.
I know it says SLI ready, but I wouldn't use this for SLI.
Pointless adverts ftw.
Pros: -I will update this when I finish my build-
I did the paperclip test on my psu and I used one of the LED fans and they look very pretty, I assure you :)
Cons: This isn't too big of a deal, but the top chassis fan can get in the way when you're installing the motherboard. And in my case the top fan's default position prevents me from plugging in the cable from my psu to the cpu slot on my motherboard.
No big deal, I'll just move the fan to the adjacent spot, but It would be nice if Rosewill had made the case 1-2mm taller. Then, I wouldn't even have this problem and then I could keep the fan where I like it. Also, since I have to move the fan to the other position, this means that I cannot install another fan there at a later date - so the advertised '5 fan spots' is pretty much useless to me since I can only use 4.
Other Thoughts: I'm using an Asus z87 Pro Motherboard.
I will update this review when I complete my build, but this seemed relatively important (to me anyway).
Hope someone finds this information useful.
