This review is from: Silverstone FF143B 140mm Ultra Fine Fan Filter with Magnet (Black)
Pros: Keeps the dust and other critters out of the case.
Cons: None yet. Have a bit of flex to them. Frame is similar to fridge magnet-type material.
Other Thoughts: I used these filters on an old Antec case that I custom-drilled 120/140mm fan cut-outs for. Grills would have been OK, but I wanted to keep the dust out as well. These worked perfectly. I'm assuming they would be just as good in a Silverstone case that is slotted for accepting these magnetized filters.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock Z75 Pro3 LGA 1155 Intel Z75 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: At the time of purchase, I got this motherboard for less than $80, which was a great deal. It has all the basic features that I needed for an upgrade. What I'm most impressed about is the ability to tweak a bunch of settings in the well laid-out BIOS utility. Boots pretty fast even with a mechanical hard disk. Haven't run into any problems as yet.
Other Thoughts: I got this motherboard as part of an AMD-to-Intel upgrade with a Core-i5 3740 CPU and 2x4GB Team Vulcan RAM.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Never heard of this brand before, but decided to give it a go. Came in good condition and works just fine in my upgraded build. Currently running at specified speeds and hasn't given any hiccups yet.
Cons: Wished their 2x8GB modules were just as affordable, but the price stepping is crazy.
Other Thoughts: I put this in a build with an ASRock Z75 Pro3 and Intel Core i5-3470 (Ivy Bridge) without any overclocking. Will be getting another pair sometime soon for a total of 16GB before DDR3 prices start to go up.READ FULL REVIEW
