Pros: Looks great and works great.
Loaded up XMP profile and has been running solid at advertised timings and speed without any issues.
Memory stays relatively cool under load which is a plus
Other Thoughts: The fins do make the memory a bit tall and if used in mini builds might run into some clearance issues.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Board layout is great with a lot of fan headers.
Onboard Audio was surprisingly great compared to other onboard audio solutions.
Great Performance, with i7-6700K and OC capabilities
Works with Samsung 950 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD (with a little work)
Pretty LED lights all over the board.
Cons: Some major stability issues that required way too much time tweaking to get the board to run perfect.
Had to trial and error to figure out how to get a M.2 NVMe SSD to be the boot drive with the Intel RAID enabled. No love in the manual on this ASUS.
Just drop the ps/2 port and give me more USB ports on the back.
Other Thoughts: This board is a great board once you past all the stability and tweaking issues that come with it. Below are some help hints to get it working correctly quickly.
First thing you need to do on this board is immediately update the BIOS to the latest version before you load the OS. I suggest doing this old school way using a USB drive that can boot to DOS and manually run the BIOS update. I ran into an issue doing it through the BIOS the first time.
To install/boot Windows on an M.2 NVMe SSD, you must install the Intel RST driver during the OS install. This is due to signing in the drive for Secure Boot and will not show up without it.
Do not let the board auto overclock for you. It will do some very unstable settings and will make you a very unhappy. If you want to overclock, do it manually.
Pros: This is a great case for M-ATX or mini-iTX systems that allows you plenty of room to fit a lot of higher end components.
Quality of the case material is good and it is very sturdy. Corsair gives plenty of screws and zip ties with the case.
Airflow design is great and with quite. Works great with 240mm radiators and leaves room for a full Video card.
Cons: Not really any cons. Just an FYI on this case. Make sure to be mindful of the depth of the case from motherboard to side panel. I had an ASUS Strix 980 that was going to use in it and found out it was 1in to wide for the case. I was able to fit a EVGA 980 Ti SC+ w/AVX 2.0 which is about as big as I would the case handle.
Other Thoughts: Like with all Corsair cases I have used in the past. This one again has not let me know down. It is a good case and I am very happy with it.READ FULL REVIEW
