This review is from: Brother MFC-7460DN Monochrome Multifunction Laser Printer
Pros: Prints fast, scans fast, size is perfect, buttons feels great, and so far no paper jam on the document feeder. Gotta love that!
Been through so many all in one printers, and this is the first one that actually got a perfect no jamming document feeder. (for now at least..)
Cons: Display is VERY low quality, can hardly see the words even with contrast at max. Backlit would help...
Cooling fan is on for a unnecessarily long time, and is rather loud. Could be annoying at times.
Other Thoughts: Couldn't figure out how to set the deep sleep time sooner, so the fan would stop quicker. Its just blowing cold air most of the time...READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Not overly bright screen, warm color, no dead pixels, price is reasonable. The stand is not that bad as well, and I LOVE the dim power indication light
Cons: Profile is not exactly slim, screen not a "true" 21.5inch, but who cares..
The "splendid try me" sticker is useless and distracting, and same goes for the energy star sticker...
Other Thoughts: some smart person glued the UPS shipping label right on top of the product label...took me a while to clean it for the rebate...= =
I RMAed an Acer LED monitor before this, it was slimmer, and offer much more power saving, but the screen gives off a heavy blue hue which hurts my eyes, i'm glad to see this one gives none
Pros: Arrived on time with no dead pixels, thin edges, great looking exterior, 1080p, and very cheap compared to other brands. I'm perfectly fine with the stand too, and best of all, NO HEAT!
Cons: This thing is TOO BRIGHT!!! Way too bright for my eyes. I have brightness at 0, and it's still very bright. I'm forced to lower my contrast and gamma just to get it a little dimmer, but they don't help much at all. I even tried my graphics card settings and it still end up very bright. This is burning my eyes whenever i'm looking at a white background. Not good!
I know its a LED and its supposed to be bright, but this is just off the scale. I know other brands that make LED monitors dimmer than this.(I guess you pay for what you receive...)
Other Thoughts: The brightness thing is just a personal preference, but it should be adjustable in a wide range. That apparently did not happen here. My eyes hurt a lot from this over bright screen, i'm thinking of returning this, but then with the shipping fee+ restocking fee, i'm not sure if its worth it.
Got a LED monitor mainly for low power and no heat, i did not expect this ridiculous level of nonadjustable brightness. This is the last time I'll get a LED monitor from Acer....i'm going with a more expensive brand next time.
