Pros: A great PC at the right price with the right specs. Power supply is 350 instead of 300 which is good and mine came with 1 8gb dual channel stick. Plays games just fine and windows 8.1 is manageable after a week or 2. Also locates drivers and succeeds, something that lacked in Vista and 7.
Cons: Windows 8.1 but I just have to get used to it
Other Thoughts: This is my first iBuypower and I did extensive reviews before selecting this model, hope everything works beyond my expectation.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TEW-733GR N300 Wireless Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11b/g/n, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab
Pros: Works as advertised. I have my desktop and PS3 hard wired, while my family uses tablets and cell phones. No lag in the PS3 or tablets. I was originally using a Tenda router that was 100mbps speed vs this model 300 mbps.
Cons: There are a few off the bat with set up. Security is set up to WPA which I didn't think much of until I noticed none of my wireless gadgets were working. Kept getting the verification error and it wouldn't connect so I tried trouble shooting. After no luck with that I changed the security to WEP and all was well. The speed was barely noticeable from 100 to 300mbps for me on my desktop.
Other Thoughts: I use the best ethernet cables, they are all cat 7. My computer build is pretty good as well. Maybe thats the reason but who knows.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Everything was fine until...
Cons: The power supply kept making a clicking sound 1 year in after the warranty expired of course. So I changed the plug thinking it was that and didn't hear again. Fast foward few months later happens again clicking in the power supply,so its not recommended I take apart a power supply. So I restarted the computer and it stops. Then starts up again and I eventually call customer support. To sum up the phone call the rep told me I'm out of luck but power supplies are cheap these days -_- So I told him if there was anything he can do and he said no. So I normally would think a desktop lasts a good 5 years before parts go bad not 2!! That's unless it has bad parts like the Xtremegear atx power supply I got. My next desktop won't be a cyberpower you can bet on that
Other Thoughts: I really thought I would have some sort of customer satisfaction from this issue, sadly I was wrong but I learned my lesson like I did with Dell.READ FULL REVIEW
