Pros: - Slots EVERYWHERE
- Power/Reset/CMOS buttons on the board
- LED for codes
- UEFI Bios
Cons: - None that I've encountered so far
Other Thoughts: - I was hesitant to purchase another ASRock board after using an older model based around the nvidia chipset for many years that gave me nothing but trouble. I am so glad I gave them another chance because this motherboard has been a dream to work with. I'm glad this board is Intel based, and the included UEFI BIOS is just gorgeous.
OH and have I mentioned the price? This board is an incredible value.
Pros: - High capacity
- Low, low voltage
- Low heat
Cons: - Cost
Other Thoughts: - I've had these sticks in my rig for a decent amount of time now, and I love them. The performance out-of-the-box is so solid I don't feel the need to tinker with the timings like I normally would with RAM sticks. I just wish they were a little less expensive so I wouldn't be so hesitant to nab another pair and boost my available capacity to 16GB!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: - Wicked fast
- Runs really cool
Cons: - Not the K version
Other Thoughts: - I picked the non-K version up solely due to cost. Luckily I haven't been disappointed. It's a bit of a shame that overclocking isn't really an option, but for the foreseeable future I can't imagine needing to as I can't get this thing to hiccup. I do all manner of 3d/2d artwork, gaming, video rendering/compositing, etc and not once have I seen this CPU bottom out. It's so powerful.READ FULL REVIEW
