This review is from: Intel BOXDX79SR LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Superb specs, WIFI, Bluetooth, 64 GB RAM, firewire, INTEL, enough for everything I needed and then a little more.
Cons: HDD port problems, USB 3 internal header placement was odd for a front panel connection.
Other Thoughts: This board is amazing, when it works... But it began after the first weeks to randomly disconnect the hard drives for a second or so. (Have 4 drives, 2 SSD 250 GB, and 1 HDD 2 TB and 1 HDD 500 GB). 2 on 6gb ports and 2 on 3 gb ports. But for no reason they began getting disconnected randomly (I installed the intel hard drive manager to better see what was happening). When some photos and video got corrupted, I new it was the end of this. I had to change it for an ASUS P9X79_PRO. First time I don't use an intel motherboard in the last 10 years. Very surprised for what happened and whats worst I can't RMA because this began happening after 2 months of purchase.
Besides the money for the new MB what hurts most is that some of the photos I lost are literally irreplaceable.
