This review is from: NZXT M59 - 001BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: The case's LEDs look absolutely amazing, and catch the attention of everyone who has never seen my computer before immediately. At the same time, they aren't blinding or particularly distracting while the machine is in use.
Built-in fans are quiet and effective.
Plenty of space for my build, wire management worked pretty well.
Clear view port is something I only expect to see in more pricey cases, but somehow this one fit it in without breaking the bank!
Cons: Instructions are downright cryptic in some situations. I'm glad I had no need to remove the front panel during assembly, as the instructions give no help other than "remove the front panel".
Clear panel doesn't feel like the sturdiest thing in the world, but seems good enough.
Cable management to the LED fan was difficult, as it kept getting caught in the CPU fan. In the end, I had to tie it to the CPU power line, and I'll need to cut the zipties if I ever want to remove the side panel completely.
The biggest issue laid in the thumbscrews: they nearly didn't come out. 2 were easy, and unfastened perfectly as they should have. One took a screwdriver and some force to get started. The last one was a complete failure: the screw was not made properly and had a large section in which there were no threads on the screw and was just a large metal bulge. The "screw" was impossible to remove, and eventually had to be torn out with pliers. Thankfully, the case came with a number of extra screws, one of which went into place perfectly in the case.
Other Thoughts: All said and done, this case is of great value, I just got unlucky with the screws. I would highly recommend this to anyone planning their gaming rig, as this case is really sweet.
