This review is from: ZOTAC IONITX-A-U Atom 330 1.6GHz Dual-Core NVIDIA ION Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo
Pros: My favorites:
1- Low power consumption
2- Very small
3- 1080p VERY doable, no lag or stuttering
4- OVERCLOCK! the atom is underpowered at anything below 2.1ghz
5- ddr2 800mhz ram, choose your own timings
6- NO PSU! just plug it in
7- Onboard Wifi, for the price payed it is not expected
8- RAID 0 capability, im getting 140MB/s
9- HDMI, DVI, VGA, eSATA, SPDIF,
10- It can game! i play EVE online at 1280/1024 with very very good framerates. my i5, gtx260 build nearly never gets switched on any more!
Cons: overclocks past 2.1ghz are very difficult, but ultimately doable. only 2 ram slots.
Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy again. where as this computer is taking maybe 30 watts at night, my i5 rig would be taking over 200, if i had it on. very nice power savings, this will pay for itself soon.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Runs crysis warhead maxed out, runs cooler than expected in an antec 900, looks AMAZING
Cons: Getting freeze-ups while gaming at standard clocks! first it was a purple-ish screen, then a pixelated purple screen, and this last time it was a green freeze-up. i have lowered the clocks to 650mhz core and 1150mhz mem and the freeze-ups have stopped a little, but what is the use of a factory overclock that is unstable???
Other Thoughts: if i can get the lock-ups to stop without lowering the clocks much, then this will be a very worthwhile buy. as always, newegg was fast and im sure, if necessary, their customer service will be very good.READ FULL REVIEW
