Pros: Perfect Colors, Clarity, No Dead Pixels, mucho adjustments available. Just right price range break for my application.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Bought for use with Music Production Workstation and will be getting a second one. Running an older 550 Ti Fermi vid card (MSI Afterburner series) looks just stunning in Pro Tools, Studio One, Reaper and Mixbus. I am in a small room but I still have to setup further away from the walls and speakers and the size is perfect for having Edit and Mixer open in two screens for better workflow.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Chipset performance, stability, features, easy install
Cons: Had a little trouble with installation of USB 3.0 as though it didn't want to recognize. A little persistence paid off and after a few reboots all was well.
Other Thoughts: Up and running several months now and not one problem. Bought for upgrade from previous 760 chipset and from Phenom to FX and with increased ram capacity. No hesitation to buy again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASRock N68C-GS FX AM3+ NVIDIA GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Decent Board for several builds .... IF you don't plan to use Windows 8. It works just fine for Win 7, but if you have a client build who upgrades to Win 8 you will be telling them to buy a sound card. The board itself performs well in Win 7.
Cons: Does not Support Windows 8 onboard audio
Other Thoughts: This was a real gotcha for me. Had a client upgrade to Windows 8 and couldn't get audio to function afterwards. After emailing Asrock, they confirmed NO PLANS to fix this. Not saying Win 8 is a must or even a good choice. Just be aware of this issue and plan ahead. On the product page you will notice Win 8 is not listed as "supported". Since this board came out during the transition period up to Win 8, a little more of a heads up would have been in order.READ FULL REVIEW
