Pros: Have bought many Cooler Master products over the years whether power supply's, heat sink and fan, case or even keyboard and have always been happy with the products.
Cons: Bought this back in august and put it the closet to use on a later build but when I took it out and installed it the fan would turn once or twice and then it would shut down.
Other Thoughts: Lesson learned! Never, never, ever buy something and save it for later without testing it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Decent Quality Product
Cons: My comments are not about this product but the company and it's lousy customer service and tech support. I bought a motherboard from them with a "LIFETIME" warranty back on 3/10/2008 while stationed in Germany, after following their regisration requirments and foolishly paying an additional fee for advanced RMA service I thought I was in great shape. As about 2 moths ago it would no longer POST so I emaild them for an RMA but after 4 or 5 back and forths with the tech support people I was told I would need a sales reciept for warranty service. Really, on a product I bought nearly 4 years ago and registered three day's later as per their requirments? I shipped back stateside from Germany to GA, then to CA then to NJ and finally home durring this time , ever notice how much gets lost when you move? Try it 4 times in 4 years, you would be glad to find a change of socks let lone a reciept from 2008! But all I got was the same answer.
Other Thoughts: Now I know, no reciept no service right? But I registered this unit as per their instuctions, model number, serial number, date and place of purchase and the rest like name, address etc. What was all that bull for? Do they think I bought this thing used then hacked into their computer system and registered with a 2008 date just to get free warranty service. Or is the registration requirment just in hopes you will forget so they can void the "LIFTIME" from the warranty. Finally I emailed the corp Headquarters hoping to get someone reasonable to help me but guess what, no reply... Think 3 or 4 times before buying any EVGA product, but if it claims a lifetime warranty think 5 or 6 times instead then register it, save the reciept in a fireproof box that you bury in a lead lined concrete bunker in your back yard for future use.READ FULL REVIEW
