Pros: If you need to replace a hard drive in a system that requires an IDE, this the choice. It is relatively fast, quiet, and ultra reliable.
Other Thoughts: In the day, I installed probably 100-150 of these drives into client's computers, with only 2 coming back (and both due to power-spikes). I have a HTPC computer in which I run four of these currently. Even in today's environment, for that application, they are plenty fast.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: There are none - NONE at all.
Cons: Item did not work, post, or do anything. It was bought as a replacement for a client's computer. The board fried the CPU on initial boot-up. I don't know what is happening with Gigabyte, but their quality control seems to have severely slipped.
Other Thoughts: I have been building microcomputers since 1988, and in these 28 years, this has been the worst board (worst than PC-chips boards that never worked, but also never ruined the CPU) I have ever had the misfortune of using.READ FULL REVIEW
