This review is from: IN WIN H-Frame Mini Green Aluminum Mini-ITX Computer Case 180W Power Supply
Pros: I bought this case because for a router build. Yes, I know, expensive case for a router, but I wanted something that met the following criteria:
1. Small. This is going to be on my desk and I wanted it to not take up much space
2. adaptable. I wanted to be able to add a pci card in case I was to buy a wireless adapter or more ethernet ports.
3. Well built. I wanted something that would last
4. Good looking. As it is going to be on my desk, I wanted it to look nice.
After putting in a mini itx build into this thing, and playing with it for a couple days, I can tell you it met criteria 1, and 2 - the half height pcie slot is exactly what I wanted. Not too large but at the same time, I can actually use the pcie slot on my mb. It has most definitely met 4 as well. This thing just looks sexy. I am using the provided glass side panel and it blends in well with my glass desk. (Maybe I just like glass too much?) As for 3, the construction feels outstanding. No gripes that I could find. In fact the only speed bump I had when putting this together was that the motherboard was a tad difficult to get in due to width from front to back. Another centimeter would probably remedy this, but really this is nitpicking.
Cons: The one gripe I have about this case is the non standard power supply. I was hesitant because I wanted to make sure I got a quiet power supply with the highest efficiency I could find and if it breaks I wanted to be able to replace it. Before buying this thing, I found that in win does sell power supply replacements.
Although I cant vouch for the longevity of the power supply yet, I can mention that it is quiet enough I cannot hear it unless I put my ear up to the case. However, it does put out a bit more heat than I would like, and from what I could gather is only rated 80 Plus.
However, I dont think these gripes would warrant breaking an egg over.
Other Thoughts: Heat dissipation seems plenty adequate. I may go for a better noctua cooler as the one that came with the i3 430t has nearly no heat sink to it. (its slimmed down compared to the i5 and i7 heat sinks). Cpu sits at around 43C which normal for this blasted texas heat.READ FULL REVIEW
