Works as described
Pros: Nice part for the price. Comes with a heat sink and cable. Both of my Thunderbolt - Windows PCs see it.
Cons: Gets warm, could use some thermal tape for the heat sink.
Overall Review: This is the way to go for my spare M.2 drive.
never arrived
Pros: ease of ordering
Cons: I had to call this vendor to check the status rather than them watching their shipments. Was a postal malfunction of some kind ultimately. They refunded me rather than rushing something else on their dime
Runs fine
Pros: Installed ESXi 4.0 on it 4GB cheapo Rendition RAM. Running a 2008 DC VM and a 2003 web/firewall VM for the house. No issues. Very happy with that level of performance. Tried getting by with only 2GB of RAM wasn't enough ;). PCIe slots came in handy.
Cons: Note there is no Intel Virtualization so running 64-bit VMs is not going to happen. Onboard NIC not recognized by ESXi which I kinda knew so bought 2 used Intel desktop GB NICs elsewhere pretty cheap.
Overall Review: A 64-bit OS on the bare metal runs fine, just no 64 bit VMs.
Like it should!
Pros: Installed easily, no bugs.
Cons: none yet.
Overall Review: Ordered this for my wife's new PC with the triple G-Skill blue DIMMs. I let her install it and load it with help of course. We just finished a weekend of hard playing Unreal Tournament 3 Black for free on Steam and not one single problem. The only thing we had to do as mentioned was to go set the RAM up to recognize it at 1333.
It works
Just maybe grab a piece of thermal tape to stick the heat sink
