Pros: With OS installed on drive I ran benchmark tests, while only making minor tweaks to OS (TRIM, no defrag, so on so forth) ran around 500 read and 500 write.. very consistent. Have it installed in an ASUS gaming i7 laptop and have not had a single issue yet. have not noticed a "Huge" difference in battery life, but I can say it is at least a little better than before. With the lifespan of SSD's now I decided to put all applications (lightroom, photoshop, steam, office, so on so forth) all on the ssd, and all of them have seen significant improvements in launch and processing times.
My OS now boots after the ASUS MOBO splash screen in 6 seconds on windows 8.1, keep in mind this is not a fresh install. (used Acronis paid version to clone and re-partition)
Cons: Seems the price has increased since I bought it.
Can't think of any other cons.
Other Thoughts: Definitely a good SSD, would buy again.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill THOR V2 Gaming ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Supports up to E-ATX / XL-ATX, comes with Four Fans - 1 x Front Red LED 230mm Fan, 1 x Top 230mm Fan, 1 x Side 230mm Fan, 1 x Rear 140mm Fan
Pros: Alot of space.
Keeps overclocked 6350, 2133 mhz ram, and r9 280x cool under load. (using aftermarket air cpu cooler)
Compared to high performance fans this thing is almost silent spooled to 100% using fan controller.
Plenty of space behind motherboard for cable and water cooling routability and storage.
Front USB panel is good quality not cheap flimsy usb ports.
Got it for $99
Very pleased with this buy.
Cons: Side fan can interfere and get caught on video card power connectors because of how deep it sits inside the case.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD FX-6350 Vishera 6-Core 3.9 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W FD6350FRHKBOX Desktop Processor
Pros: 6 Cores, effective utilization between them
Quite fast for gaming, multitasking, and single core performance.
Heat sink seems to have fairly decent thermal paste on it. (added artic silver 5 to be safe though)
Overall a really good chip.
Cons: It does heat up very quickly under load. (using Prime95 torture on mixed mind you)
Recommend an aftermarket cpu cooler
Other Thoughts: Docked an egg for Heat (though i almost didn't) this thing is a 125w proc,. its expected to get warm but the heatsink can't quite keep up with it using Prime95.
But if your gaming or doing video rendering you should be fine. Nothing you do should come close to what P95 puts these through.
Just think they could have thrown in a slightly better Heat Sink
