Pros: Speedy Boot up
That fluffy fluffy cloud :3
Cons: Media consumption could be better, will explain.
can be a bit slow
speakers could be louder
Other Thoughts: Don't expect anything mind blowing, telling you right now, for the price you pay, you get every penny's worth. anyways! I love chrome OS, When im not playing video games, im on the web and this is what this machine is for when i want to relax on the couch, watch some that youtubes, and catch up on my essays. and the best thing, everything is stored in the cloud, so no more corrupted documents or forgetting to save. and if lost or stolen, everything is still there waiting for you.
Now then, for $180 that i paid for, i expected a somewhat slow machine, with samsung's sloppy CPU. But it works, and i dont need anything more for that.
Youtube does slow down and skip frames every now and then, as well as netflix, but if you're fine with that, which is every 30 sec for about 2 sec, then you will love this laptop. Yes, i called it a laptop, it is by definition a laptop. :D
Pros: newest quad core APU
6GB of RAM
Plenty of Storage
boot up takes 30 sec after BIOS update
Came with Battlefield 4
Cons: BIOS update, right out of the box = not good -1 Egg
windows 8 <-(but that's just me)
Other Thoughts: Bought this for a coworker, after she had issues with newegg billing. She is very happy with her new machine, but that took about a 4 days. She was having serious issues with booting up, most of the time it would never boot and just a blank screen. Also the computer was very sluggish. This only happened while charging however, and she wanted to return it immediately. After reading more reviews, i found the BIOS was in need of a critical update, which is available, but hardly consumer friendly. Luckily the BIOS update was simple enough, that i could trust her to do it herself. The average user would probably never figure out that it was the BIOS.
This should have been fixed before leaving the Manufacture, otherwise those less techy will misjudge this machine, and might assume AMD or Lenovo is a bad brand, thus missing out on a great product.
