This review is from: EnGenius ENH200EXT High Power, Long Range Outdoor Wireless N AP w/Antenna
Pros: Long range
Comes with everything but poll to mount it on
Easy to use web interface
Cons: This replaces the EOA3630 802.11g access point.
The EOA3630 was a better design with antenna that attached to the top.
This new model you must mount antenna separate from radio so it takes longer to install.
This new model also does away with the nice metal bracket that made the old one easier to mount on the side of a building or telephone poll.
The new models' radio is difficult to mount to a flat surface because you must first put your screws in properly spaced from each other then slide the radio over the top of the screws. This makes it far less vandal/theft proof since you can push up on the radio and remove it without using tools. You could use a poll mount but that's just another part you have to buy :-(
The old EOA3630 had a two piece mounting bracket which made it easy to mount to a flat surface and more vandal proof as to remove it you had to have a metric driver #8 or 10 (I can't remember).
Other Thoughts: Be advised by default it is set to client bridge at 192.168.1.1 with admin and admin as username and password with DHCP server disabled.
It does not work as an access point until you configure it. Be sure to save your config and reboot for the settings to take affect.
You need basic networking knowledge to use this device. It is not plug and play.
Pros: Was quiet with decent airflow
Cons: It lasted 2 years 4 months and 17 days
It's noticeably loud now. Sounds like a bearing went out.
I have other fans 80mm that outlasted it.
Maybe I'm just expecting to much out of this 60mm fan.
Other Thoughts: I bought this fan on 4/21/2010
Today is 9/8/2012 and it sounds like a bearing has gone out. It has run in a small home server 24/7 for 2 years 4 months and 17 days.
This review is from: Rosewill R2-JBOD - Aluminum 3.5" SATA I / II USB 2.0 Dual-Bay External Enclosure
Pros: This thing rides around with me in my truck. It has not had an easy life. I am always pleasently surprised when I turn it on and it just works. Ports are surprisingly tough, I've gone through many enclosures because the USB jack in the enclosure would break off inside of it-- but not this thing!
Cons: none I can think offREAD FULL REVIEW
