This review is from: Logitech Z506 75 watts RMS 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers
Pros: Low cost, 5.1 surround, easy controls
Cons: Over powered bass from sub and surround speakers are mainly mids with a screachy high-end.
Other Thoughts: We use this in a media pc for a room that's about 12 x 15 and they have no problem filling the room BUT the tone mix is too separated. There's no blending, it's either heavy lows if you are in line of sight with the sub or midrange from the surround and center. This is a prevalent issue with today's distinct channel speakers, but it's really obvious with these.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Worked great for about 14 months under moderate use in a very well ventilated box then began to exhibit weakening
Cons: Purchased 01/07/2011 Now the fans are loud at start up and the GPU's seem to be weakening. I've got EVGA 8800's that still work today and even earlier cards in Beta test units that are still working. These were advertised with "Military Grade" components - Yea, right.
Other Thoughts: I've been around the block with MSI on several other pieces of hardware and should have learned my lesson then. Running a Beta test facility all the hardware gets moderate to light usage with short periods of heavy usage in boxes that are maintained weekly (cleaned, tested and so on). If hardware fails in under a couple years use in our facility you now that it weak and was never really stress tested. Guess whose motherboards and Video Cards we won't be using any longer....READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Kocaso M750B Android 4.0 OS 7" Capacitive Multi-Touch Tablet PC 1.2Ghz 4GB HDMI WiFi
Pros: Nice screen
Cons: No USB, charges hot, battery life not near what it should be, default item settings don't seem to identify the unit correctly when attempting to get apps. Company's website is a joke. It lists support and a FAQ page, but nothing comes up. If you find your product in the list all it does is give a pay phone number someplace in New York. Basically the unit is disposible because other than getting an RMA with NewEgg if something goes wrong in 30 days. Outside of that you are on your own. Something tells me there will be a ton of these in landfills (along with their other models) in the next year.READ FULL REVIEW
