1 out of 5 eggs Very disappointed 06/12/2016

This review is from: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition GV-N1080D5X-8GD-B

Pros: 8GB memory, would be nice if it worked as intended

Cons: I expected this to be the next great thing and for the first 5 days it worked great. Then I started doing high end graphics, added two display port monitors for a total of four and it became very unstable crashing often with 368.39 driver. This card is extremely unreliable and either has bad memory or something going on. I dont even have to run a game and in 10 minutes I get an orange screen on the left monitor and solid white on the other.

ASUS RT-AC68U Wireless-AC1900 Dual Band Gigabit Router IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n AiProtection with Trend Micro for Complete Network Security

Pros: Great features

Cons: After the recent firmware the router constantly disconnects requiring a hard reset. I've flashed previous firmware back but still has the same disconnect issue.

Other Thoughts: This router has instability issues. I did open a ticket and let them know I was going to try previous firmware but the ticket was closed.

ASUS RS100-E8-PI2 Server Barebone LGA 1150 Intel C224 DDR3 1600/1333

  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Perfect for home data centers.

Cons: Requires ECC memory. Only memory I found to work was

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it supported RDIMMs or non-ECC memory. This was documented as supports ECC but not requires. Found out the hardway.
