HP 2311x Black 23
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: I own 3 of these and thought they were a good buy.

Great price at the time. Multiple ports DVI HDMI VGA.
Thin and sleek.

Cons: After 1 year exactly the DVI port randomly stopped working. After doing numerous troubleshooting steps i gave up and called HP Support. Once connected with a rep they said i was out of date on support and needed to pay $30 bucks to talk to them for trouble shooting. I said i have 2 BRAND NEW ONES WITH THEM and they still said i needed to pay $30 to stay on the line. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. So with that im now going to auction my other 2 monitors with hp and get different brands. Way to loose customer loyalty HP.

Other Thoughts: If your broke and want to roll the dice the monitor is decent. Provided that you have one of the lucky models that isnt defective. BEWARE after a year its no good.

Pros: Great price and quality if you buy two and run in sli mode. Getting great results with 3 HP 2311x monitors.

Cons: Wish they were a little bit cheaper.

Other Thoughts: Radeons do give you a better bang for your buck, but they get way too hot for my rig. The evga company makes great long lasting cards. Ive owned 3 evga cards and they all still work.
