Pros: Best antivirus that I've ever used period. I've used the YELLOW box & Macaf33 before and both were bevy on resources and slowed my machines down. The latter of the two even allowed a virus to get into my machine and wreck havoic on my registry! I've been uesing Bitdefender Antiviruse for over two years now and it's very light on resources and while it is scanning your system it does not even slow it down. I couldn't pass this version up for 10 bucks, it includes so other utility's to make sure your system is in tune and running properly. I would reccomend this AV to anyone, just look it up on Cnet because it's been the best AV for over 3 years. That's should say everything right there
Cons: Non I can speak of
Other Thoughts: Would reccomend to any and everyone!! Best 10 bucks I've spent in a long time!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Pioneer VSX-1122-K 7.2-Channel Network Ready A/V Receiver
Pros: Great video upconversion for all types of source inputs through HDMI. A great sounding unit as long as you have quality speakers to utilize how truly clean the sound can be. Many HDMI connections with one out to got to your HDTV for a less cluttered wire bank. The AirPlay is awsome for people with iOS devices ( and you do NOT need to uh a separate adaptor for this feature to work) to stream audio with track info, screen art and more. All you need to do is hook up your home network via a cat5 or cat6 cable from your router directly into the unit and follow onscreen instructions.
Cons: I switched this unit out in place of a Harmon/Kardon AVR 525 that had given me years of enjoyment, but need to upgrade to the newer audio that come out since the. TrueHD, DTS Master Audio. You get my point. Well let me tell you after hooking everything up and calaberating it, I was more than a little disappointed. Then just 3 weeks later the rear HDMI connections had somehow disconnected the connection of all the connectors loose and none of the worked again. You could literally "giggle" just one of the HDMI cords hooked up and ALL of the others in the row would move in sync with it. So I called Newegg (GREAT COUSTMER SERVICE AS ALWAYS) filled the RMA returned and a week later recived a new one. Hooked it up and no problems. I was also the FRIST person to buy this from them on 7-16-11 for 799.99, but that included a FREE Klipsch 12 powered sub (normally 499.99) and I was sold right then. Instruction Manuel is of almost no use cause everything is listed so out of place.
Other Thoughts: Final words for me are these. Be weary before you buy. Jo and listen to it and play with it before you make your final decision. As of 4-28-12 my unit has done the same thing with the HDMI connections. They all wiggle and you can auctly feel that it has separated from the main PCM board inside the unit. And yes I do know what I'm dooing I've been into hone/car audio for over 20 years now. I do not claim to be an expert at all. But just know what I'm doing. I use all Monster Cables, Monster Power Conditioner, and I am running all B/W THX 2 11.1 setup. I put the KLipsch sub in my guest room. Just be warned about the faulty HDMI connections, and just so you know after I hooked them up the frist time they WERE NEVER TOUCHED AGAIN. I have all my electronics in a back closet that stays closed and I use RF Extenders to commucate with them in my theater room. Bottom line, I'm sending it to get fixed/replaced and after I get it back it's for sale. I'm buying all McIntosh. Hope this helps some1READ FULL REVIEW
