So far, so good
Pros: Installed on a ASUS SABERTOOTH Z87 1150 motherboard. Despite the fact they're not on the OVL list, they do work. Hassle free. Good memory, relatively cheap.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Good bang for buck, stand is cheap at best.
Pros: Monitor works great out of the box for me. Needed to adjust brightness down and colors according to preference, but this is to be expected. You aren't going to find a 27" monitor this cheap with these features from any other vendor.
Cons: Stand is absolutely terrible. It does not snap into the back of the monitor, which makes adjustment of the angle risky at best (monitor may end up face down on your desk/floor if not very cautious). No HDMI cable included. VGA cable included is only about 3 feet long.
Overall Review: I am going to super glue the stand into the back of the monitor. I can't believe this stand was deemed passable by Samsung QC, but despite that I've only docked 1 egg for this.
Buffalo continues to impress
Pros: Easy setup for novices, and old fashioned setup for the technically inclined. Flashable to custom DD-WRT, but not really necessary - the stock firmware does everything I need it do, including rudimentary QOS. Enabled 300mbps mode and connected at 150mbps on my wife's laptop. Doesn't get any better than that with wireless. Signal is excellent throughout the house and the router is located in my garage. Been 100% stable thus far, runs pretty cool.
Cons: Stock firmware limits login password for router administration to 8 characters. Not a big deal but I'm not sure if DD-WRT changes this.
Overall Review: If you're looking to upgrade to wireless N / gigabit affordably, look no further.
