Pros: Can be overclocked drastically.
Other Thoughts: This processor can sure take a beating. I bought a third party cpu cooler and have overclocked this is 4.4-4.5ghz no problem. Buy this processor over the 6350 since essentially that processor costs slightly more and is just a manufacturer overclocked 6300. You can not beat it for the price. I stayed away from the 8000 series since a lot of motherboards have problems with the 8350 and such due to wattage and heating issuesREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Overclocked my fx 6300 great
Was fast and stable when worked
Plenty of options in the bios
Cons: Died after 1 year and 1 week.
Tech Support is useless
Other Thoughts: I contacted tech support and described the problem after going through every part and testing if it worked until I found out it was the motherboard. I then contact support and all they say is that I am right it is the motherboard and that I should contact the seller (Newegg). I then reply back asking if there is anything they can do and they ignore my email. Great motherboard while it lasted but a 1 year warranty on a board that suddenly dies a little after a year is not acceptable. Stay away unless you buy an extended warranty since this seems to be a common problem!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent Build quality
Long power wire
LED indicator when devices are connected next to each port
Able to charge phones and tablets
USB ports separated enough to allow fatter usb wires some wiggle room
Cons: Slightly longer (maybe a full 4 foot usb 3 cable) could have been included
Other Thoughts: I was able to receive this product from the company to test and review it. I am running windows 7 and the usb 3 hub was picked up and installed quickly. The build quality is great. The power adapter is long and gives plenty of room however the usb 3 data cable to connect it to the computer could be longer. Both cords however are of great quality and seem sturdy. I connected both my phone and tablet to the charging ports of the device and they charge no problem. The key thing with any hub especially a usb 3 hub is speed which I must say is amazing with this hub. In benchmarks the hub performed only slightly worse than having it directly connected (160mb/s average vs 156mb/s average) and the true test was transferring a 4 gb file from my solid state drive to my usb 3 drive. I must say I was pleasantly surprised to see these benchmarks work in real life. With the hub my average speed was 155mb/s and without it varied from 155-160mb/s a truly outstanding performance! I have recently used several hubs (first usb 3 however) and can say it sometimes it pays to get a quality hub. One of the cheap ones burnt out on my a few days after owning it and this one seems it will last a long time. This hub will definitely come in handy since my usb 3 ports are only in the back of my pc which is a pain to access on a daily basis.READ FULL REVIEW
