This review is from: Woodees IESW101V 3.5mm Connector Canal Vintage Stereo Earphone
Pros: These are really smooth and uncolored sounding in-ear phones. While not bass-heavy like lots of other brands in this price range, they have plenty of it when called for and go down quite deep. These do not sound muffled like most of their competitors. They are quite flat and neutral sounding. For those to whom it's important, the cables are non-microphonic despite their sturdiness.
The only reason they don't get 5 eggs is because these lack the transparency that the finest sounding audio gear would give you. But for that, I'd expect to pay quite a bit more. You really can't beat these for the price.
Cons: My only real complaint is that the left and right channels are not marked on the ear pieces. I had to dig out a test CD to identify which was which and I then marked them for future reference.
Other Thoughts: These are an excellent value for the money. I'm generally hard to please when it comes to audio gear, and I highly recommend these to anyone wanting a decent pair of in-ear phones for not a lot of money.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Optical Quantum 25GB 4X BD-R 25 Packs Logo Top Blu-ray Disc Model OQBDR04LT-25
Pros: After trying more expensive brands and having lots of problems with consistency between (and even within) batches, I decided to try these -- they were so cheap, I figured I wouldn't lose out too badly if they didn't work. Well they did work! Very well, in fact. They have been the most consistent and reliable (and least expensive) BD-Rs I have tried.
Other Thoughts: This is the only brand of BD-R that I buy any more.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: At the time I bought it, it was the least expensive writer Newegg sold and included free shipping. It burns any brand of disc I can put in it.
It's a Samsung -- another Samsung drive has lasted me 2 years and is still going strong in another PC I have!
Not one coaster so far.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: This is the second Samsung drive I bought. I got the other one a couple of years ago and it is still the most reliable CD/DVD writer I have ever used. It is also compatible with more brands of blank media than any other drive I have ever used. In some of my other PCs other brands of writers have failed and I've had to replace them several times, but that old Samsung has outlasted them all and keeps working. I hope this newer drive works as well.READ FULL REVIEW
