This review is from: Logitech M310 Flame Red 3 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Laser Mouse
Pros: Cheap quality mouse. It is a bit smaller then my usual mouses but it fits great in my hand and is a nice size for traveling. It works great on all surfaces, better even then my $90 gaming mouse for tracking.
Cons: No issues at all so far. just plug it in and it works as advertised.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This laptop is great. It's my first laptop I bought for gaming, and I have already tried a few games (Thief, B&W2, TR, XCOM) on it and they all run full resolution on high settings. The screen's maximum brightness is very high, I never have it maxed, and it is 1920x1080 as advertised. The speakers are very nice for a laptop, still sound small but they sound very high quality for their size. The design of the laptop is very sturdy feeling, it seems like it could take a few falls without damage and if it does take damage, the design would damage the outside deflecting away from internal components.
Cons: Windows 8, had to update it to 8.1 and took me some time to completely get rid of Metro. After Metro is gone it's almost as good was windows 7, which I liked more then any previous versions of Windows.
Wireless adapter is garbage. It frequently bugs out and gets stuck at 'identifying' which is sometimes fixed by restarting the adapter, I've tried reinstalling the drivers twice for it, the issues came back with time. This is a known issue with the wireless adapter.
USB hub has an issue with some devices. To overcome the wireless adapter I plugged in a USB wireless adapter which worked great for a week. Now when I plug it in it just continuously loops between plugged in and out. This is another known issue with the laptop, although the issue was reported with other peoples iphones. My wireless mouse that has a usb fob that's always plugged in hasn't had the same issue.
So basically there are times when I cant get wireless internet on the laptop, I hope this is a driver issue that will eventually solve itself.
Other Thoughts: This is a steal for a gaming laptop. I don't think I would buy it again. Its a bargain and for that I have to deal with wireless issues every time I open the lid hoping its connected and I don't have to waste a half hour getting on the internet.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MOTOROLA SB6141 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet (RJ-45)
Pros: Was using a old Surfboard that had DOCSIS 2.0 and bought this to replace it. Immediately my bandwidth changed, previously it was 30MB, and now its 60MB. While my plan has always been 50MB through comcast. Also we used to have a problems with occasionally our upload would drop out for a second causing packet loss, which seems to have been resolved by this modem.
Cons: Confused the comcast tech support when registering it, somehow they thought it should have two MAC ids, but it only had one,READ FULL REVIEW
