Rosewill Gaming Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower - Top HDD Dock, Side Window Panel, 5 Preinstalled Fans - BLACKHAWK
Rosewill Gaming Computer Case - ATX Mid Tower - Top HDD Dock, Side Window Panel, 5 Preinstalled Fans - BLACKHAWK

Pros: This is my second build. First one I used an Antec 900. Great case but wiring was a little cramped; thought I'd try one that was a little larger. The Blackhawk does give more room for the wires; especially if you remove any unneeded 3.5" bays (which is easy to do). Also it theoretically (see cons) comes with 5-120 mm case fans and has room for 4 additional fans.

Cons: Someone from Newegg needs to check and see if your recommended combos actually work. One had the Blackhawk with (among other things) a Cool Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler. With the large cooler and it's 120 mm fan installed you can't close the cover; the main cover fan MUST be removed. Don't bother trying to re-install it on the cover behind the motherboard; a regular fan won't fit there either. Also, the way the 3.5" drives are mounted you had better have cables with off-set or "L" connectors. When putting the case cover on, It broke the straight SATA data connector (if it had damaged the hard drive I would have been really P'd!). Fortunately, I had a SATA cable with an off-set connector and the hard drive is working fine.

Overall Review: Enclose SATA cables, power & data, with "L" or off-set connectors. Or at least put in a disclaimer warning customers that they might have problems with straight connectors. Also, either install a slim fan on both covers or tell customers they have to buy slim fans for the cover. (you'll get some negative feedback on that since slim fans are 3-5+ times the cost.)
