This review is from: CM Storm Sirus - True 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset with Control Module
Pros: With a soundblaster just sounds great. Music and sound effects the same sound good.
Cons: Proper installation instructions.
Other Thoughts: Don't connect center to mid speaker jack, connect to stereo. Sound card stills sees it as surround through the other jacks.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I was just about to return this thing, packed away and everything. Just bought a new 5.1 headset which I was disgusted with also. I decided to put back in my case to give it another go. Put my connections in the 5.1 jacks still sounded like junk. Then I decided I would connect the center speaker to the stereo jack. WOW!!!! What a difference. It's powerful. And the music does sound great. I don't know why the reviews are saying music wise it's not that great. You'll going to have to turn down the volume a lot. As a matter of fact I use the night mode in the trustudio program and lowered the bass a lot. With it's included equalizer the music sounds beautiful. It'll see your headphone as just that for the stereo sound but it also sees your surround sound connections separately.
Cons: Instructions, had ta figure out things on my own.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I remember in the good ol days of Sega Genesis, when you bought an arcade port of your favorite game only to be disappointed in the lackluster port. Sure the gameplay was sort of there but the graphics? I'am running skyrim at a 58fps. Nvidia says this card should do it at 77.6fps. Problems with the card? Not in the slightest. I'am also running Skyrim highly moded. High texture mods for backgrounds, characters, clothing, creatures and the cherry on top of that is with Sharp Shooters Etreme Graphics ENB graphics card torturer. If I where to be playing the arcade version of skyrim, this is what it would look like. If you want to see the power of this card further check out Nvidia's site showing off Epics Unreal Engine 4 demos running off of one gtx 680. From 580 to 680 there "is" a noticable difference.
Cons: If you don't have one. Make's me wanna buy another for sli overkill.READ FULL REVIEW
