This review is from: APRICORN VEL-SOLO-X2 Extreme Performance SSD Upgrade Kit for Desktop PCs and MacPro
Pros: easy to install; reliable (so far); fast SATA III connectivity (so says ATTO). does what they said it will
Cons: none so far
Other Thoughts: i bought this because i had an old LGA 1366 MB which didn't support SATA III and a new Samsung 830 SSD which did. Is my Windows 8 faster? slightly. use the provided software t image? no way, who would? just Ghost it. Would i buy it again knowing what i know now? - absolutelyREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very fast, replaced the hard drive with a A-Data SSD (also from Newegg) as soon as it arrived. Really can't beat the price (it's a Sandy Bridge CPU!). HD 3000 graphics perfect for me (i'm not a gamer). Target buyer: Students and professionals who need a fast (somewhat lightweight) portable laptop.
Cons: none yet.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MASSCOOL 8W553B1M3 90mm Ball CPU Cooler
Pros: This thing is unreal. Keeps my Core 2 Extreme QX6850 OC’d to 3.73GHz absolutely cool (idle @ 40C) with Arctic Silver 5 – Still could not believe it so I swapped the Masscool with an ASUS V-60 92mm Vapo Bearing CPU Cooler at 4x the price - the result: CPU ran to 55C at idle, so I went back. Not a gamer, but would highly recommend, don’t be put off by the price.
Other Thoughts: Design of this cooler cools the MB and chipset too because it draws airflow DOWN to the CPU not away from it. Replace the pre-applied white grease - mine was dirty - go with Arctic Silver 5.READ FULL REVIEW
