Pros: Clean clear color. Works on my Mac and Windows.
Cons: I am getting old and I find myself leaning in at the monitor, which makes edge to edge viewing weird.
If you (and your eyes) are getting old, you might want to carefully consider how close you sit and your desk setup when looking at any 4K monitor.
Other Thoughts: GET A DP 1.2 CERTIFIED CABLE AND MAKE SURE YOUR VIDEO CARD SUPPORTS DP 1.2!!!
I, like many others, had problems with the initial install and had to RMA my first monitor. I still had random flickers with my 2nd monitor, so I started researching and realized that there is a quality/testing difference between DP 1.1 and 1.2 cables. I ponied up for the 1.2 cable and ALL my flickering and refresh problems were fixed. YMMV
This review is from: BUFFALO AirStation AC1300 / N900 Gigabit Dual Band Wireless Router - WZR-D1800H
Pros: I am getting higher N speeds than I have gotten from previous devices. I have two of these (300 year old house with lots of stone inside) in opposite corners of the house and they cover almost everywhere I can go inside. I am running them in AP mode.
Cons: UI is confusing at best and an active hindrance at worst. Having to setup two SSIDs and associated configs for the dual radios is nonsense. There has to be an easier interface than this. I had to reset and reconfigure the router three times before I got it the way I wanted.
Other Thoughts: I have found that orientation of the router matters quite a bit, which makes me think that the antennae may not be as omnidirectional as I would assume.
Another oddity is that switching from router to AP mode (and back) seemed to erase the wireless config completely. As the wireless config has little to nothing to do with the router/AP function, I was surprised by that quirk.
This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS10X FLEX CPU Cooler
Pros: Ran this for a couple days straight on 100% CPU doing video encoding without any problems. No direct fan, just a case fan and my PC is quieter than ever.
Cons: Was a bit fussy getting attached to motherboard. I had to use washers to get a snug fit I was comfortable with, but that is me being particular rather than a knock on the product.READ FULL REVIEW
