Quiet fan-Cools well
Pros: The fan is larger than the stock heatsink fan, and quieter. Easy to install. Idle temps have gone down 10+ degrees from 31C to 20C at idle. Full load is 54-55C. Very pleased with the performance of this heat sink. This thing is definitely worth the money.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Ran multiple websites, a movie, a W7 virtual machine, with multiple apps within it, and it stayed at 54-55C. Using this heatsink and fan with an AMD 8350 Vishera 4.2GHz CPU, 8-core.
Product works, but got burned on rebates by Asus!
Pros: Both monitors work fine.
Cons: Asus has obviously decided not to honor their rebate offer. I did everything required, but since May, no rebates; no update. I bought two of these monitors and feel cheated. I will not trust Asus again.
Overall Review: If you choose to buy monitors from Asus just because they offer an enticing rebate, beware! You may never get it. I plan to report them to the BBB and whoever else I can.
Works as it should
Pros: Bought this for a customer to replace an old BR drive (2007), which has trouble reading certain discs. It reads all discs fine, and is pretty quiet. Didn't use it to write BR discs though since I don't have any BR media.
Cons: None
Good HDD's
Pros: Bought two of these to replace my aging WD green 1TB and 2TB HDDs that I use for mass storage. I coupled this with a StarTech USB3.0 dual drive enclosure, and both drives are running well. They're quiet, and can take some serious strain--40-50+GB continuous data transfer. No problems yet.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Not 7200RPM, but I knew that when buying. Can't really tell the difference; they're fast enough.
Works as it should
Pros: Bought this for a customer who has an older Intel Core2 Quad system with 2GB of RAM and WinXp. He wanted Win 7 x64 on it for media center setup. This memory made it possible. System is quick and stable.
Cons: None
Good P/S
Pros: Bought this to replace an aging P/S in customer's PC, which wouldn't properly power up video card. This P/S solved the problem. It has detachable cables so you only use connectors you need, and keep the rest in the box.
Cons: None so far.
