Other Thoughts: Tried running Prime95 with the stock heatsink and hit the panic button at 90 degrees. I double checked the contact and paste with the diode and everything looked fine, so I'm guessing it's either architecture, an inefficient cooler, or these particular chips just run hot in comparison. I'm used to AMD processors and even with an 8350 on stock heatsink didn't ever get over 75 degrees on Prime95.
