NZXT Crafted Series Phantom Black/Green Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

5 out of 5 eggs One small inconvenience - but there is USB 3.0 01/11/2015

This review is from: NZXT Crafted Series Phantom Black/Green Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Lost of room and plenty of places for cable management and peripherals.

One USB 3.0 port on the front/top

Cons: Open the back panel and the rear of the motherboard is exposed just behind the CPU to allow easy installation of aftermarket coolers. The problem is the cut out area is not big enough to expose the mounting holes on the left for a Z97 motherboard.

Other Thoughts: More Details about the CPU cooler problem. I have an ASRock Z97X Killer board, thinking it might have just been bad design by ASRock I checked other boards and all Z97's are in the same spot. To mount my Corsair H50 cooler I had to take the motherboard out despite the convince cutout in the case. It was only a minor inconvenience so I'm not going to take a star.

The added bonus is the USB 3.0 port up front. The details mention there are two 2.0 ports, but one of those ports is actually a 3.0 with 20 pin header. This might be a problem for some if they are looking to upgrade their case and their current system does not have a 20 pin header.
