Pros: Fast! My setup is an ASUS P8Z77-V-Deuxe MB, i7-3770K @ 4.6GHz(P95 stable), Corsair H100 cooler, a CoolerMaster 1200W PS and two GTX 680's in SLI. Except for one experience(see below), G.Skill memory has always worked per spec the first time!
Cons: Cost, No stable OC @ 2800 and above yet
Other Thoughts: I had originally bought the 2600 version of this memory and could not get a stable XMP OC above 1921 MHz. I talked to Tim(very helpful) at G.SKill and tried everything he suggested(i.e. Vccsa should be @ 1.25v), but still no luck. RMA'd the part back to NewEgg for a refund and decided to buy the 2666MHz set. 2nd time was a charm, and NewEgg really treated me very well during the whole process!!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This memory, running at 1866MHz (XMP), has survived without an error, 8 hours of Prime 95, and 24 hours of two different memory tests. I am running a i7-2600K CPU at 4.8Ghz (Prime 95 stable) on a ASUS P8Z68 Pro Motherboard. The build was almost too easy!!!!
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: This build was my first build in almost four years when I built two machines with QX9650 Extreme CPU's. This build was much easier and faster. I spent a lot of time four years ago getting 2 GB Corsair DDR3 1800MHz (XMP) memory to work (stable). The G.SKILL 1866MHz (XMP) worked right out of the box with zero problems!!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Corsair P256 2.5" 256GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CMFSSD-256GBG2D
Pros: I own three of these P256's. I have two in a RAID 0 cofiguration in my ASUS P5E3 Desktop(Win7 64 bit WEI score=7.9). I have another one in my new ASUS G73JH-A1 Laptop(Win7 64 bit WEI score=7.4).
Cons: Price and Babysitting -- you have to ocasionally do a secure erase with G-Parted to get them back to top notch performance. Trim commands work with single drives and Win7, but don't work yet in RAID(multiple drives) cofigurations. I will be very happy when the RAID controllers allow the Trim command to be passed through to the SSD Drives.
Other Thoughts: They really shine in my ASUS G73JH Laptop!!!READ FULL REVIEW
