This review is from: SilverStone RAVEN RV01-BW Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Pros: I think the layout of the interior is great.
I believe Silverstone should sell the Maingear Shift version of this case. It has the same guts but a really classy aluminum & steel exterior. Also a new carbon fiber exterior.
To me that would be the ultimate case.
Cons: Just the plastic batmobile theme. I know everyone has their own preferences. I just wish they would sell the one they OEM for Maingear.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Thermaltake AquaBay CL-W0032 Liquid Cooling System Level & Flow Indicator
Pros: None for me but, if you must READ BELOW.
TT makes alot of great stuff, but,
"Friends don't let friends do Thermaltake H2O!!"
Cons: I put this in a customer build upon his request. I tried to talk him out of it, but it was all "BLING" for him.
Very cheap acrylic? ( I think ).
Other Thoughts: I have had to install a few of these, so I have learned how to avoid the cracking issue.
Do not use the threading tape.
Put a little pipe compound instead, the gell type. Do not tighten more than a quarter turn, finger tight.
TT is not H2O done right!!
If you have any experience (with water) you already know this.
If not, read as much as you can about water cooling, and you will naturally gravitate towards higher quality components.
Please save yourself a painfull learning experience, and look elseware.
This review is from: ABIT IP35 Pro XE LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: I have had the board for about six months now. I find it to be a stable everyday mobo. I have always love uguru and have the ugru clock. But not on this board. This can be a fast board but not a stable gaming platform. I have since moved it into an HTPC and all is well. Nice and quiet and keeps surprizingly cool.
Cons: Any buyer/user should use extream caution using built in settings or uguru altogether. There are some known glitches. 1. Turbo mode ups the voltage to dangerously high levels. 2. Uguru often resets itself, especially the mem voltage to really high levels. I use it only for monitoring.
Other Thoughts: One tip to the guy with the stuck fan sensor. It is common on all boards that use uguru.
Turn off board, unplug power supply from wall, or unplug the plug from wall to psu. Wait for all onbord lights to go off. Push and hold down the onboard reset switch for ten seconds, then do the same with the onboard power switch. That is the usual fix found in Abit forums. Works for me every time. It is a shame to say goobye to abit. But, sadly other than their most popular boards they paid little attention to bios updates on other boards, and the few problems that need to be addressed in this bios will never get fixed. I was happier with my older pro edition.
