QNAP TS-212-E Diskless System Network Storage

5 out of 5 eggs excellent solution 02/01/2014

This review is from: QNAP TS-212-E Diskless System Network Storage

Pros: Getting 43 MB/s transfer speeds over Cat 6 ethernet. USB ports on the back for print server or external hdds. Can use NTFS for external HDDs. Logging into the NAS gives you a clean GUI with lots of apps including torrent station, IP camera management (with motion detected auto record, amongst other features), mySQL, web server, backups, user access control (even with Active Dir). The app store has some pretty cool ones too. Lots of Android and iPhone support too.

Cons: Not a big deal, but only supports ext3 and 4 for internal drives. Not a big deal, I prefer it over NTFS anyway, but would be nice for those making the NAS jump from an NTFS external drive.

Pros: Have been using for right about 3 years now. Has yet to fail me.

Cons: I would prefer low profile memory, but not a bid deal

Mass Effect 3 Xbox 360 Game
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs Incredible Series 02/28/2013

This review is from: Mass Effect 3 Xbox 360 Game

Pros: Storyline is very deep. It will draw you in to the point where you are excited to progress and see what the characters will do next. You will find yourself completely engrossed in their personalities, histories, and the adventures they go through together. The battle system has improved since the first Mass Effect. Choices made all the way back in the first Mass Effect make big differences in the second and third.

Cons: The only real con I can think of is that one of the key traits of the first Mass Effect was just massive maps. They have been shrunk down and just don't feel as expansive anymore. Sure, the backgrounds look very vivid and open, but it just isn't as explorable.

Other Thoughts: I don't usually have much time for video games anymore, but playing this game was more like reading an amazing book than playing the average mindless shooter. This is true art.
