This review is from: Lenovo M57 Desktop PC Core Duo E6750 (2.66GHz) 2GB 80GB HDD Windows 7 Home Premium
Pros: More than adequate CPU for most needs. E6750 processor has 4MB cache. COA sticker on the side w/ activation keys. Motherboard allows flexible boot options including USB. Lots of USB 2.0 ports. Cost of OS license alone should make this purchase worth it.
Cons: Taking risk w/ a 6 year old computer. Case is scratched all over exposing bare metal.
Only 2 SATA ports onboard. No IDE. Came configured as non AHCI mode rendering the pre-loaded Windows image useless if you want to mirror the drive to an SSD and boot in AHCI mode.
No Win7 OS disc, Thankfully you can download Win7 Home Premium ISO from Microsoft Technet sources.
Other Thoughts: Replaced the slow and noisy 80GB HDD bundle with an SSD to boost performance. Virtual mem and pagefiling w/ SSD does not require bumping up the 2GB RAM for basic internet use. If really needed, this unit allows adding a dedicated video card and RAM up to 8GB.
For a shared home PC. I opted for this setup and expect it to last another 3-4 years. Total cost w/ SSD is less than $190.

After replacing the HDD, noticed that fan is very quiet.
Reviewer Rafal posted a good summary below..
Pros: Just an update to a review I made earlier. Asus support wants me to pay $179 to have the broken screen fixed. Yay Asus. You lost me as a customer.
To those buying this tablet, make sure you get a protective case or you will end up throwing it away.
Cons: I now have a worthless tablet.
Other Thoughts: Found Asus support terrible.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fast tablet. Very responsive. Will not significantly lag when multiple apps are running. Good gps receiver. I'm able to pick up 12 satellites while indoors. Installs apps quickly.
Cons: For people asking whether the screen is glass or not, it is glass. Highly brittle glass screen. Mine broke in just 3 days of use. Screen did not survive a very short drop to the floor.
I wont recommend this tab as primary gps nav tool for driving - if one has to depend on the voice guidance. The volume is too low it gets muted by a revving engine.
Other Thoughts: Giving it 2 'bad' eggs for the easily damaged screen. Item should be sold w/ a protective case and not just on its own. I'm sure I won't be the only unsuspecting consumer suffering this fate.
Now looking to replace the screen. Hoping Asus can help.
