Pros: I want to update my last review. The drive is doing a lot better now. Windows 7 will load and 8.1 boots faster now. Overall progress is better. Maybe it was just me.
Other Thoughts: It does work on ASRock's Fatal1ty 990FX Killer board. You will need however to disable the IDE and Sata Combined Mode to have better performance which I did not do the first time around. It does not seemed faster than my OCZ Vector 150 ssd drive.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Well everything was detected by the bios and Windows 8. I did upgrade the bios from ASRock's web site before I installed it.
Cons: It seems to be really slow in booting up. Once it boots up it seems to be somewhat okay. If I restart again it takes forever. Maybe there's something I haven't done yet to make it work right. Been checking, so not sure what it is.
Couldn't get Windows 7 to install on it. It just sat there.
Other Thoughts: I have a Fatal1ty 990FX Killer Motherboard
32 GB GSkill memory
Any help to make it boot and work better would be awesome.+
Will do an update later.
Other Thoughts: Updating from my last review. This card died in about 8 months. The warranty is covering it, but it is taking about a month to get it back. For the price you would think that it would last longer.READ FULL REVIEW
