Pros: This is my second board. Great expansion capabilities stable. Rock solid with 1.05 bios for X5680 . But big problems with earlier CPU - see below
Cons: The new board shipped with bios 1.05 which seems to be not compatible with my X5570s hangs at the checking NVRAM line. I don't want to switch out the X5680s to downgrade bios due to risk of damaging the socket in my working main computer. Painful to say the least!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fairly easy to load WHS (See below)
hold 4x2TB disks + 5+5 with ESATA (using a port multiplier enclosure)
Lots of USB
Cons: Slightly biggish, but it needs to hold 4 3.5" drives -so not unexpected
Other Thoughts: I "converted" an old 8500GS to PCIE x1 by making a notch after 17 contacts. Still had to pull the mobo up to attach the card so that you can load WHS. a x1 extender cable available on fleabay will prevent the need to remove the mobo. I couldn't find the x1 to x16 riser cable anywhere, which would have prevented the need to mod my 8400 GS also.
I heard of a completely headless slip streamed install , but I never had good luck with it.

Pros: Changed from a POC Asus Z8NA to this one. Instant happiness!. Z8NA always missed 1 DIMM worth of RAM, also was never able to run my E5530 at full speed. Also, Z8NA won't run W5580s. This one gives me the full set of RAM and also runs W5580 like a champ. 2 physical PCIEx16 means 2 graphics cards, possibly for physx or even crossfire (not tested for either) . The CPU sockets are a little offset which makes life a lot easier when setting up coolers.
Cons: They don't include SAS cables. Don't be so cheap SM! Not 5520 chipset.
Other Thoughts: X8DAL-3, 2xW5580(ES),24 GB DDR3 (6x4), GTX 295, Antec EA650 PS. Currently second place in Pasmark CPU benchmarks!READ FULL REVIEW
