Pros: Works well with my HP G7 Micro server. Not much to say.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Owned for about 2-3 weeks.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Almost everything you need to get this little guy up and running. No OS but that's ok, I like choices. Compact but smart.
Cons: One ethernet port, one small non NAS HD.
All not that bad.
Other Thoughts: My first server. Got this guy running my home network. File sharing and a web page, just don't tell my ISP.
Microsoft server 2008 r2
Added a HP low pro NIC( needed Two)
The rest is stock.
This review is from: MSI NF980-G65 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: DDR3 Support
3-way SLI (x16/x16/x8)
I have it running like a champ.
Somewhat simple OC, read cons.
Cons: Bios needed update to get my 2-way SLI running like it should. (x16/x16) It started out worse than my old board, but got it running like an upgrade after a bios update.
Does not include 3- way SLI bridge.
Bios is different from my old board, and I can’t seem to find a manual setting to OC my video cards. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong.
Memory list approved for the board sucks. Had to take a risk and find out for myself.
Other Thoughts: This board
