1000 Watts of stable power

Rosewill BRONZE Series, RBR1000-MS, 1000W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE, Blue LED Dual-Ball-Bearing Fan, ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black
Rosewill BRONZE Series, RBR1000-MS, 1000W Semi-Modular Power Supply, 80 PLUS BRONZE, Blue LED Dual-Ball-Bearing Fan, ATX 12V v2.3 / EPS 12V, SLI & CrossFire Ready, Black

Pros: Supplies ample power to all the components. I love the modular connections. The fans are very quiet and doesn't make a lot of noise. I love how the PSU stays on for about 20secs to exhaust any standing heat out the case.

Cons: None that I can think of

Overall Review: Great deal, and good to match it up with my case of the same brand. It does it's job, and I haven't have it fail for flinch once. Highly Recommended.

Good, but not Great

CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1600C9
CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMX8GX3M2A1600C9

Pros: Looks good. Pretty stable @1366 MHz

Cons: Like others said, this will default at 1366MHz instead of the advertised 1600MHz. And trust me you try and bump it up, it may not be stable all the times.

Overall Review: I was really hoping my first product with Cosair would be a great one, but it is just OK, and not wowing me overall. I may get another manufacture's sticks and try those and hopefully, those will be able to stay at 1600MHz without issue.

It does the task for my home server

Intel Pentium Gold G5600 Coffee Lake Dual-Core, 4-Thread, 3.9 GHz LGA 1151 (300 Series) 54W BX80684G5600 Desktop Processor Intel UHD Graphics 630
Intel Pentium Gold G5600 Coffee Lake Dual-Core, 4-Thread, 3.9 GHz LGA 1151 (300 Series) 54W BX80684G5600 Desktop Processor Intel UHD Graphics 630

Pros: I have this running FreeNAS. So far soo good. I've stressed it a little and it took it like a champ. It doesn't run hot, and I may even keep the factory cooler on it.

Cons: I think that these should still have Hyper-threading. No reason not to have it at this point.

Overall Review: I'm going to start doing more with it. Put some VMs on it and see how good it reacts too it. But so far in month one, it hasn't gave me any issues. A very solid budget processor.

So Far So Good

WD Red Plus 4TB NAS Hard Disk Drive - 5400 RPM Class SATA 6Gb/s, CMR, 64MB Cache, 3.5 Inch - WD40EFRX

Pros: The drives just work. Got them in a RAIDZ1 (RAID 5) configurations, and seems to hold the data good. Burned in with badblocks, no errors . Checking with it on my server, it seems to hold the data what it is meant to do.

Overall Review: Got this Running on FreeNAS with three in action. They are very quiet. Had them for three weeks and they do what they do!

Great Switch for the money

NETGEAR ProSafe Click 8-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Plus Switch GSS108E-100NAS
NETGEAR ProSafe Click 8-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Plus Switch GSS108E-100NAS

Pros: Eight ports is awesome! I LOVE the mounting system, and when switch is mounted it is really stable. The power plug design actually works very good. I also love the aesthetics of it. I also love the LEDs. They are not too dim in it.

Cons: Not sure if I needed the USB ports. It's slightly bigger than i expected. I also wish it had a separate upstream port (or two for teaming)

Overall Review: This switch works perfectly for my rack. SO far got my PC, Printer, and Surface Pro, all connected without issue. I love that I mounted it under the shelf on my rack, so the switch is out of sight and out of mind. I was able to clean up and route better with this switch. This is a great buy if you are in a market for a switch.

Works with my Rosewill 4U Rack

iStarUSA IS-26 Industrial type of Ball Bearing Sliding Rails with Length 26"
iStarUSA IS-26 Industrial type of Ball Bearing Sliding Rails with Length 26"

Pros: These are great! Easier to service parts now with these rails. Have holes that will make it compatible with most racks.

Cons: Can take some time to set up if you don't have a rack made for servers (the ones with the square holes).

Overall Review: It takes a little to set up perfectly, but one you do, it works great. These have the chassis stay in place, and you have to tug on it a little to release it. Perfect with little ones running around.
