Pros: - Pretty easy setup for wireless
- Prints quickly
- I was able to have all the PC's in my house print to this printer in about 10 minutes (wired and wireless)
Cons: The scanning software with this printer is nothing but trash. It is a total waste of my time to have an All-in-one printer that I can't scan on. To scan documents I use my Canon MP 500 that is 1) fast, 2) easy to use, and 3) came with full version, licensed software that actually works. I would have to believe HP either gets a cut on getting the full version license fee or cheaped out on the scanning interface drivers and sw :-(
Other Thoughts: I really like being able to print to this printer from any computer in my home. It is very quick and should save me a bunch of cash over using one of my 2 Canon inkjet printers...but until I can find some better scanning sw, I'll keep using the Canon MP 500READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TOSHIBA WiFi Built-in Blu-ray Disc Player BDX2250
Pros: It's light and has a pretty blue BlueRay logo
Cons: Wireless setup was a nightmare. I had to advertise my SSID in order to get the device to "see" my network. I could kind of live with that.... Then it wouldn't accept the DHCP address offered to it by my router. I statically configured the IP address and then it wouldn't resolve DNS (no NetFlix for you!) even though the DNS server addresses were active and up as verified from 2 other systems (1 wireless the other wired).
Looked up the problem and it seems that Toshiba support is telling folks they need a wireless LAN adapter if they want the BR to connect through a router. One of the reasons I bought this device was so I DIDN'T have to buy a network adapter. I cannot confirm what I read but I can verify this device did not play nicely on my network (D-Link DIR-655 wireless router)
RMA'd what I consider a piece of junk.
This review is from: YAMAHA RX-V671 7.1-Channel Network AV Receiver
Pros: Easy setup/eq, convenient remote, HDMI switching
Cons: Dark contrast is pretty bad here. I was replacing an older Pioneer Elite that had no HDMI with this unit and I am quite disappointed in the dark/black contrast in all video (DirecTV, PS3 gaming, NetFlix and DVD/Blue-Ray).On a few occassions I have been tempted to switch the Pioneer back in.READ FULL REVIEW
