Pros: I guess I'll be the first to review this case since there isn't much out there on the net. I bought this case to build a small low powered NAS to tuck away in the closet. I put a Zotac Ion motherboard with an Atom 330 in it.
Runs quiet with the 2 supplied fans and the supplied 150watt psu. One that vents out the top of the motherboard chamber and the other vents out the back from the data drives / power supply chamber. The hot swap drive bays are really nice, just screw a hdd in one of the cages and slide it in. Each one has it's own LED.
It is about the size of a shoebox, which is what I wanted. I like how the front door just slides shut and everything is covered up. Comes with all the cables you need. Overall a great case.
Cons: No instruction manual!! Probably wasted an hour of installation time trying to figure everything out. I thought you would mount the OS hard drive on the opposite side of the motherboard tray. Wrong, there are little pegs that you slide the drive's screw holes into and then screw in the opposite sides. You can barely see them.
Front has individual LEDs for 4 hard drives, but the case only holds 3 drives, what the f? It also has a LED for LAN activity and BOOT (Whatever that is). It has this intrusion switch that gets released when you open the case. These sound like great features, however the motherboard I bought which is a regular ITX board dosn't have any of these features, and I doubt any boards out there that would fit in this case do. So kinda useless features.
Some sorta funky button on the back, I have no idea what it's for. The wire says LED VCC, whatever that is, (perhaps if I had a MANUAL to explain to me).
Other Thoughts: ZOTAC IONITX-D-E motherboard with Intel Atom N330.
4 gigs of corsair ram.
160gig Seagate Momuentus 7200.4 for OS
1.5tb WD Green drive for data
Aside from the lack of manual and all the useless leds and unknown button thingy this is a great case for a low powered NAS to just hide.
Pros: Well built PSU, modular cables are nice. You can plug it into one of the usb headers on your mobo, or you can use the passthrough cable if you wish.
Cons: Would be nice for a combo sata/molex cord. I need one and only one molex power plug and need to have an extra cable with 3 plugs on it.
Other Thoughts: Solid, efficient.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Slick looking case, good value, well constructed.
Cons: Comes with molex fans, useless.
Other Thoughts: For the price you can't go wrong, just plan on replacing the fans if you want less wires in your case.READ FULL REVIEW
